Who Are We

Welcome to JCP Agro Process Pvt Ltd. Situated in the Heart of Tobacco growing region in Gujarat – India, we are the modern version of a 70+ years old legacy. We boast a large client base of Zarda Manufacturers across India and historically Unmanufactured Raw Tobacco has been our main focus area. Since 2021, we have entered into Tobacco Leaf Supplies for Nicotine Extraction and are expanding rapidly.

We source top-quality tobacco leaves, valued for their richness and natural sweetness, from local agents and farmers. Adhering to a stringent quality policy, we ensure that only the best raw materials are collected and processed under optimal conditions, allowing the final product to preserve its exceptional flavor.

We are experiencing rapid growth and plan to expand our operations in the future. With skilled management, cutting-edge technology, and a focus on innovation, we aim to deliver products that surpass the expectations of our valued customers.

Legacy

In the year 1948. Shri Rambhai Manorbhai Patel, a farmer from a small village called Kavitha, near Borsad town in the then District of Kheda – Gujarat (India) entered into the Raw tobacco business with his brother Shri Dahyabhai Manorbhai Patel. The central Gujarat region is one of India’s optimum places for cultivating premium quality tobacco. This tobacco is used for Bidi Manufacturing as well as for chewing tobacco purposes. Within the next 10 years, with a lot of hard work, dedication and perseverance the family established a sales office in Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) as well.

By the year 1965 the business expanded rapidly and the family is now known as the RM Patel Group to the farmers as well as everyone in Gujarat’s tobacco trade ecosystem. Raw tobacco was being supplied to Bidi Manufacturers, Zarda Manufacturers all across India especially Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Some of our oldest clients are still with us and this is a testimony to the importance we put on our client’s growth with our consistent supply. In 2015 our Delhi sales depot became operational.

JCP Agro Process Pvt Ltd is a private limited company incorporated in the year 2021 by Shri Jagdish Chandra Patel and Shri Gautam Patel. With eyes set into the the next 70+ years, the group name was rechristened ad JCP Group during the same period. Its an ode to the Illustrious career of Shri Jagdish Chandra Patel - hence the acronym JCP.

In the year 1978 Shri Jagdish Chandra Patel joined the business at the Varanasi office in a young age of 20 years. From Annual visits to Gujarat for Raw Tobacco Purchase, to understanding clients pain points, when it comes to new zarda product development, Shri Jagdish Chandra Patel has done it all in his illustrious career of 45+ Years. He is still regarded as one of the best advisors for new product development in Varanasi tobacco trade circles.

In the year 2010 Shri Gautam Patel joined the family business at the Kavitha - Gujarat Office. Armed with an MBA in Finance & Entrepreneurship from IBS Hyderabad and an engineering degree from Pune University, he took over the reins at the operational side of things to lead the family business into the 21st century.
